Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

We are living in our own joint property and we two have separate properties owned by each one of us, where our parents and siblings live. They do not pay us any rent. Is there any possibility that they lay a claim on the property?

My husband bought a property in his father's name. He paid the full amount for the property. They are two sons. Who all will have a right to property. Can my husband at least claim the money that we spent on buying the property?
