We have lost our original sale deed of our property . How can we obtain a duplicate set of the papers ? Will cetified or true copy of the sale deed would be alright for selling the property ?

Certain procedures will have to be adopted for selling with certified copy of title deed. Certified copy can be obtained from the Registrar of Assurances office.

u need to lodge an NCR with local police station and apply for certified copies of sale deed. you may sell the property on the basis of NCR and Certified copies.
