Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
I have lost all my parent documents (including the parent sale deed and construction agreement) for the second hand flat that I bought recently thry bank loan. Luckly the new registred sale deed is with the bank. I have the following questions:
1. What are the precautions that I have to take immediatly?
2. Is there any possibility of getting a duplicate of those documents (atleast the parent sale deed), in a most legal way, so that in future I wont be facing any issue when I sell the same flat?
Thanks
Kumar

Lodge report with police, publish notice in newspaper.
No duplicates are available. However, in case of a registered document, anybody can apply and obtain a certified copy from the office of the Sub-Registrar.
