Check bye-laws of concerned societies.
Under the new bye-laws suggested by Co-operative Dept, restriction on number of flats held by one person has been removed [See Model Bye-law No.62]. However, these new bye-laws have not be adopted by all the societies in the State yet.
In case the societies concerned have adopted new bye-laws, then there may not be any restriction on one person owning 2 flats.
