Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

A man died in 1973.The man has some land with transferable right in utter pradesh.He had only a married daughter.All the land went to his real brother in 1974and mutate in revenue record accordingly.Her daughter claims over the land on the ground that the land was gifted orally to her at the time of her marriage.Whether she will success?

How come the land went to the brother ? As the daughter under the succession act is the legal heirs of the property . Please clarify.
