Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
I was a minor when the property was purchased by my father from his own money but in the name benami of my brother 19 years old in 1980. father has since expired. the property is in my possession. i was not a party to the benami transaction. brother now claiming exclusive ownership. is it correct that my rights as son of the r eal purchaser( father) are not affected because i was not a party to the benami transaction as i had no previty/connection with the transaction?
