Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
My mom's grandmother gave a part of her property as a gift to my mom on 1953. After 58 long years, now my mom's mother and mom's sister are claiming that, they also have equal rights to own this property and they are going to file a case in court. do they have Any chance of winning the case?

If the Gift deed was registered and formally accepted by your Mom then your Mom's mother and her sister has almost no chance winning the case.

in case the property is ancestral, it cannot be gifted and in case it is self acquired, the gift holds good.
