Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
My mother aged about 84 yrs. She is suffering from age related mental problem. My father built a house which is in my mother's name. I am the sole legal heir. I am afraid that my mother may write the house in some one else's name. What is the way out? I have made an irrevocable power of attorney duly sgned by my mother and attested by notary. Anything else is needed? Kalyan

An power of attorney does not confer ownership or any right in a property.
