Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
My Mother and Brother have sold a joint proprty without my concent , and mother came to an agreement with me that she will give me her share of propertys left as compensation in return of me relenquishing any rights to challnege the sale or legal consequences upon me or my brother. and gave me a power of attorney as such ( its mentioned in the powr of attorny that she is giving me right to register the property in my name in return of the me relinquishing the right to challenge for any civil or criminal proceedings ).
is this valid ? its notarised and attested by consulate in USA both the documents . can my brother challenge this or my mother revoke it in future ?
can i register the property or do i need any other documents

It is good to reach an amicable family settlement. It may be better if you get the documents prepared through a lawyer.
any consent given, even in writing that no legal action would be initiate, is void ab initio. there can be no estoppel as to law.
Doubts are always endless.
