Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

My mother in law wants to sell a house site which is in her late husband's name. She has three married daughters. One of them can not attend registrar's office for executing sale agreement and for registration of the same.She is living in a far off place Can she execute a special power of attornee in favour of her mother for the said purpose. . If so, what is the procedure?

yes she may give power of attorney in favour of mother or her sister. She may sign the special power of attorney on Rs. 50/- stamp paper and get it registered with respect to this property only and giving power to mother to sell and collect the money in daughter's name.
