Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
My mother owns a land of 24 satak & it had been purchased 2.5 years ago. At the time of purchase we enquire abount the land with the mutation paper of the previous owner of the said land & found that 24 satak land is own by the said owner as per the record. Two months ago we received an injunction on the land from court. After that we chased the seller of the land & they provide the land ownership paper, but it shows that they own only 16 satak, but record says that they owned 24 satak before our purchase. Please advice legal process in this case.

If the previous owner was really owner of area stated by you, then you become owner of that area by virtue of registered sale deed.
In case previous owner sold you area in excess of area actually owned by him, you can file a suit for recovery of excess price paid by you.
