Mutation of property
In urban/Metro areas how is it possible to get name recorded in Khasra Khatoni by a purchaser of property.What is the other source of proof that property after purchase is duly recorded in revenue or other records.What type of records may be asked for.

The "record-of-rights" of properties in Urban areas are normally maintained in the office of Muninicipal Committee / Corporation of the area. Alternatively, the relevant information should be available from the office of Collector of your area.

Procedure of mutation in revenue records is same in urban and rural areas.
Except extract of revenue record, there is no other proof to check entry of name.
