Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I'm an NRI. My father is a Himanchali and owns agriculture land in Himanchal. Can I buy residential land in Himanchal? If not, is it possible for my father to gift a land to me?

You cannot buy land in Himachal and your father can gift the land to you.

you need to follow RBI rules in order to buy the land in Himachal Pradesh. in case the rules allow you, you may go for it. retain a lawyer for this purpose.

There are no violation of RBI rules as it is a state law . I dont know why people without knowledge has to poke there nose in every question .
