Can an NRI living in USA buy an agricultural property in andhra pradesh, India. If he cannot but he did without knowing what are the repercussions

No NRI can buy agricultural property in India; If he had, he should cancellation of sale deed.

NRI living in USA cannot buy Agricultural property in India . Has the NRI given POA to some one to buy the property on his behalf ? Please clarify. Who was present at the time of execution of sale deed etc.?

NRI can buy the land in india and for buying agricultural land, he needs permission from the Reserve Bank of India. NRI is not a foreigner that he cannot buy land in india. there may not be any impediment in buying land here. hire a lawyer in india and he would do all the formalities, right from getting you permission from RBI till the execution of sale deed and mutation in revenue records.
