Regarding OC responisbility

Dear Sir,

I purchased an under construction flat from a builder. I took posession by making full payment as per agreement with assurance builder that OC formalities are on and he would get the same shortly. Now builder is asking for money from each member for getting OC. What can be done?

If the builder is not honoring his commitment as per the agreement, you may sue him for breach of contract and claim damages as well as other reliefs.

Getting Occupation Certificate is duty of the builder. A builder can not ask any extra amount then what has been provided by agreement.

Make efforts to resolve amicably. Failing that approach court.

Read your conditions of purchase if there is no such condition of payment then Refuse and take legal action.
