Occupation certificate

I am planning to buy a house in Mumbai suburbs The building has 3 wings two of them (A and B wing) have OC all three wings have formed a society The flat I am interested in is in the C wing which is newly constructed around 6yrs ago and does not have an OC. Should I Invest if get a good deal .

Find out reasons for non-issuance of OC. If OC is withheld for illegal / unauthorised construction, then there will be potential risk of unauthorised construction being demolished.
