origanal documents

we,(one brother and two sisters) inherited a pieceof property through will from our mother. We have separate municipal numbers for each of our share.

I plan to sell my property but my brother is unwilling to give me origanal link documents of the property.

what recourse do I have?

can a document be drawn declaring these papers as common property?

you can take the papers from municipal records or from registrar office and if it is a agricultural land then from patwari.

1. -if the WILL is registered you can have a copy of it from the registrar's office

2. if it is probated then the court maust a copy of it- get it from the court

3. if you are talking about the parent documents - you can get a copy of the orignals from the registrar - if you have the details of the documents

4. details of the previous documents can be had from the Encumbrance certificate!
