Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I have ownership flat joint property in which first name is mine & second name is of my ex-boss. I was staying with my family since last 8 years & paying maintainance,Light bill & all other society expences. Now this society goes under reconstruction so i told my ex-boss to take money & withdraw his name but he didnt agree. i left job after society went under redevelopment.Please advice right of mine if he doesnt co-operate. As i left job for better prospect ; he was not happy though i was ready to give him his money back which was given as loan & matter of case; they didnt increase my salary as well since 8 years. All maintainance bills, Light bills,Paasport,Rationing card,Aadhar card all is in my name on same property address. He doenst have proof except payment details which is mentioned in agreement as he is staying in his different home.
