Hi,
Co-op Housing society is governed by its bye-laws which are agreed in AGM, GBM's. So with respect to your query, you dont have any stand against them. Reasons; bye-laws govern the society rules and regulations, the charge applied by them is not very high.
The only option for you, if you wish to challenge the said bye-law is by discussing the said rule in front of General body, and bringing out the solution.
