Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
My parents jointly owned a flat and both are deceased. I have the agreement papers but unable to find the original share certificates. How do I go about selling this property if I am the only heir?

You may request the society to issue duplicate share certificate and also for substitution of your name in place of your parents. You will have to submit the required docs to the society. Once your name has been substituted you may sell the property
