Part possession of the apartment

Builder has not yet received the occupancy certificate for the building. Now he is issuing us the part possession of the flats after we pay the full amount. The people from the first phase of the complex are also issued possession in the same manner. one year past they haven't got the final possession yet. Please tell the legal consequences of the above. Does it affect the buyers in anyway.

Is there any law binding builders on issuing full possession within specified period.

You may want to contact a local lawyer with your documents. However, meanwhile you may consider accepting possession of the property on usual terms.

What is part possession of flat? What is final possession? What is full possession? - All these terms are beyond any law. Law provide only for possession, which can be actual or constructive.
