my grandfather owned a flat wherein after his death my mother,grandmother and my aunty use to stay.After my mothers marriage my aunty requested my mother that she will stay with her family at that place for some time but she continuously stayed there requesting that her children will be helpless otherwise.Now a peiod of 27 years have lapse and my auntys son have their own flats and my mom now wants the share of that flat whether she can get that bcoz for last 27 years she allowed my aunt and her family to stay there.My granny is not alive and now only legal heirs are my aunty and my mom.whether my mom can get her share after 27 years and if yes than how?

Yes, your mother can claim her share in the property and should file a partition suit immediately.
