Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
A person has two sons and a daughter. Elder son dies and his wife with two daughters re marries. She re appears at the death of father in law and now claims that she has a right in the properties. Does she or her daughters has any right in the properties left behind by her father in law.

Yes, the widow is entitled to a share in the ancestral property by stepping into the shoes of her husband.
