Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
i plan to buy a property. There is no encumberance in the EC for the past 30 years. But before 30 years there is a mortgage with a bank.The seller says that the bank has waived the loan.Pls advce if I can goahead and buy the property?

Simple thing would be to check with the bank instead of debating or deliberating.
In case no action is initiated by bank or bank has really waived the loan, same will be disclosed by bank on inquiry.
