I am planning to buy Agricultural land near mahad , maharashtra..
I am from non farmer family, so can i buy an agricultural land.
If not , what are the wayout for that. I am buying for agricultural purpose only..

In Maharashtra, only an agriculturist can purchase an agricultural land.
Others are required to apply under section 63 BT&AL;for obtaining permission of the collector to purchase agricultural land.
