Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
am planning to buy a site in bangalore which is still not dc converted but comes under bbmp limits.originally it was a part of the agricultural land gifted to a farmer by government in 1964 later it was enjoyed by the farmers son but due to some distress he wanted to sell the land to some developer to whom he has given the general power of attorney which is registered at the sub registrar .but at the time of giving the gpa he had major sons who have not signed for the gpa copy.the property was sold via a registered sale deed in1992 by the gpa holder while the owner was alive.now can his sons who were majors then, raise an objection as they have not signed in the gpa document?

this being an ancestral property, the objection can be raised by the sons who were minor at the time of sale but are major now. however, you should contact a lawyer with documents for a better opinion.
Have title thoroughly investigated.
