Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
there is a plot of 9000 sq. feet. its the the name of my grand mother(deceased) my father and my fathers brother equal share 1/3. its not been partioned on papers but my father and uncle has made a boundry in middle of the plot with mutual consent dividing it in half.
my grand mother has total of 4 sons. out of which two are co owner in this property.
my question is does other 2 sons have any right in this property(legally). we went to patwari to get grandmothers share transferred to other co owners. but he said it can only be transferred to all four. but not to only co owners.
so please clarify does other brothers who r not co owner of property has any right in this property.
and can my father see his share of property legally if others have any objection

The patwari rightly informed you that the share of your Grand Mother would be divided amongst her all 4 sons that include your dad too.
