Pls. advice for purchase any property it is mandatory to know about the Khasra NO. & Dakhil Kharij No. of the Property Land owner.

Dear Sir / Madam,

Yes, you should know the property details Khasra No. indicating the exact location and direction boundaries and total area of the plot.

You should also check full details of the seller to ascertain his genuineness whether the Dakhil Kharij No. and plot detail is in his / her name on the District Land Collector's records.

Lastly, you also should confirm whether the property you intend to purchase is free from all encumberances or liabilities, before you pay up any monies.

in case you are purchasing an agricultural land, the khasra and khatauni is mandatory to be scrutinized. in case of urban property, it may not be required.
