Possession amount
My builder is saying that possession amount should be paid in cash or DD, Would like to know how the possession amount should be paid, cash, DD or cheque. I would like to make payment as Cheque. Should the builder have any objection to it? Kindly suggest.

you should give the payment by cheque. If he insists then get the DD receipt.

You can offer to builder the cheque with liberty to deliver possession on encashment or realization of cheque.
