Power of Attorney cancellation

I have given POA to a friend in South India to sell land there. I live in North India and got the POA notarised (not registered )in North. Now I want to cancel the POA.

a.How should I do it?

b. Which sub registrar needs to be informed about my cancellation of

POA.

c. Is it essential to inform the friend that I have cancelled the POA?

Pls help in this urgently

a. cancel by way of proper deed of revocation;

b. the same sub registrar where PoA was originally

registered;

c. yes, it is not only required to inform him; but also you should insert a public notice in the news papers of the area.

a. Inform power of attorney holder, publish such cancellation in local newspapers of south and also inform concerned registration and revenue authorities about such cancellation by annexing copies.

b. Sub-Registrar exercising jurisdiction over the property for which power of attorney was given.
