Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Power of attorney
Dear Experts,
I am in Dubai and planing to buy a piece of land in New Delhi. Is it possible to get the ''Power of Attorney'' registered in my name without my presence? If yes, then what will be the formalities?

Re: Power of attorney
You may get a power of attorney registered in Dubai. Executive the document and get it endorsed by the office of Indian Consulate in Dubai. The document will then be registered again in Delhi by the person in whom you have appointed as your 'attorney'. Your presence in Dubai may be required but in India your presence will not be required.
