Re: Power of attorney

Power of Attorney duly executed and attested as provided by law is valid. A power of attorney can be revoked by grantor thereof at any time, unless it is coupled with interest.

Law has not provided by for any affidavit or indemnity for a valid power of attorney.

Re: Power of attorney

It depends on what you are using the power of attorney for. Under California Law, all that is required for a Power of Attorney to be valid is a singed Power of Attorney form. However, this does not mean that financial institutions are required to honor the Power of Attorney. They will often require additional doucmentation or things like a bond. Note that if every time you go to the institution the documentation never seems to be enough, that is probably a sign that this institution is just messing with you and will never honor the power of attorney. In which case you need to find another company to do business with or obtain a court order.
