power of attorney registration
i have a immovable property in state of kerala, but i live in state of andhra pradesh, india. can i register POA here in andhra pradesh if attorney is a resident of State of Kerala? please answer my query. thank you.

You can register Power of Attorney at the place where you ordinarily reside.
However, if such a power of attorney is for sale of immovable property, then same is required to be registered.
Further, most of the States have provisions of payment of entire stamp duty on the Power of Attorney giving powers of sale of immovable property.
Therefore, if you wish to give power of attorney for sale of immovable property, consult your lawyer before proceeding further.
