Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Prevention of Selling of Real Estate
I and my brother are owner of an inherited ancestal house.
I live out of station.
My brother lives in that house.
Is there any procedure so that my brother can not sell the house by taking opportunity of being myself out of station...?

If names of both of you have been recorded in the records, then your brother alone can not sale the property.

Sir,
If the property is in the name of you and your brother then both of you will need to sign off the documents so that it can be sold unless one has a power of attorney from the other brother/ owner of the house
