Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Property disputest
My grandfather willed his property to my father, who is only son. My father is alive. A small portion of the property was given to my eldest brother and a degree was issued by court. Another portion of the property was alotted to my three younger brothers, But it remained in my father's supervision because my younger brothers were all minors at that time. It was turned into H.U.F with my father THE KARTA. Now it has been vacated and ready for collaboration. but my brothers have refused to give us any share. We are four sisters. I just want to know whether I have any legal right to the said property or not. At the moment, they want to liquidate the entire property and divide it between four sons and the father.

Re: Property disputest
Property coming to your father under Will will be his sole property and not HUF property.
However, if your father has treated/converted said property as Coparcenary property, even the daughters have been classified as coparceners under the recently amended Hindu Succession Act. If you qualify to be a coparcener, then you would be entitled to a share in the coparcenary property.
Re: Property disputest
You can file partition suit against your father and brothers. Even daughters also entitled to get the share in ancestors property.
