Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
I have a property which in in the name of my great great grandfather (agreement is in urdu). I dont have death certificates of my great grandfather and his father. But have the death certificate of my grandfather and grandmother. My father and 2 uncles are the legal heirs. How can I transfer the property in the name of my father and 2 uncles?? If I have to file a petition what is the procedure and what is the cost? Do I have to make an affidavit of my great grandfather? If somebody has illegaly occupied the space then what is the recourse?? Please help.

Your queries have given rise to many more question to ask you and i feel you should engage a lawyer. Rest assure , you can get that property transfered as the property has become ancestral and therefore you too have a right in it besides your other legal heirs.
