Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Property Inheritance for An Adopted Child
If the deceased is a Hindu male survived by the following Class I heirs:
1. One son
2. 2 daughters
3. One predeceased sons widow
4. One predeceased daughters natural-born daughter
However, the predeceased daughters daughter was adopted by the predeceased son referenced above. The predeceased son also had 2 natural-born children, one son and one daughter who are alive.
Can you please suggest how the deceaseds property will be divided amongst the survivors?

Re: Property Inheritance for An Adopted Child
You may keep in mind this basic principle : All the Class I heirs inherit equally. There is no distinction between an adopted child and a natural born child in the matter of inheritance.
Re: Property Inheritance for An Adopted Child
Equal shares to son, daughters and predeceased son & daughter.
There appear total 2 sons & 4 daughters, out of which one son & daughter predeceased. The assets & liabilities would be divided into 6 equal parts. Parts of deceased son & daughter will be shared by their heirs.
