I have made Banakhat to purchase flat for rs. 8 lac and paid rs. 2 lac and show period as 1 month or period required for getting loan. now i want to cancel deal. Can i get money back of rs. 2 lac. Banakhat is registered document.

The terms and conditions of the Banakhat needs to be checked.

Presuming the owner has cancelled the Banakhat he is supposed to pay you the full token sum i.e. Rs. 2,00,000/- & if it is a cancellation from your side then it needs to be checked but in any the owner has to pay you the amount.

Before proceeding please contact personally alongwith the copy of Banakhat.

The question whether you are entitled to refund or not have to be ascertained from the terms of the agreement you have entered into at the time of contracting the purchase.
