Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
i have property. in mumbai western suburben. want to sell. but no society is constructed living here last 3 year. so builder asking me transfer charges RS 500 per sq feet. my flat is area 700 sq feet. so asking 3,50,000 /- 50/50 buyer 1,75,000/- 1,75,000/- from ME. that no reasonable. please revert me query what i do with this case.
please focus me what i goverment act help me or other way of out from this property transfer charges.

A person can not benefit from his own wrongs.
The builder was obliged under MOFA to form a common body of purchasers of Units being Society or Condominium or Company and transfer land with building to such common body within stipulated period.
Demand of builder is absolutely illegal and you may consider appropriate legal action in consultation with your lawyer.
