Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Property owned by Father in law. Building by my husband

Hi,

My father in law has a plot of land in his name on which he already has constructed a building. My husband is planning to construct another floor on the existing bldg. He has got a loan in my retired father in law's name but my husband will be repaying the loan of 20 lakhs. My FIL is not interested in giving the title to my husband but has assured that after him, my husband only will have right on the property and not his wife or daughter. Is there any way, my husband gets the ownership of the floor he has has constructed on my FIL's property? What if his daughter or wife claim on this property. How can we assure that no one claims ownership on the floor that we are constructing. What is the best way to safeguard or to approach this situation. Please advice.

There is no way in the wake of refusal of father to transfer title or part of it to son.

If property is a self acquired property of father and if he make a Will giving property to his son and if such Will is not revoked or challenged, then son would get it on demise of father.
