Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I have a property registered in my name and my son's name.I had already given partition to my daughter and wife.Now I am 67 years old and want to give my share of the property (property registered in my name and my son's name) to my son by a settlement deed with life intrest so that he can have share after my life time.My question is

1.Whether a settlement with life intrest valid legally.

2. Who will be the owner of the share till my lifetime.

3.Will my son have hassle to claim the property after my lifetime.

4.Can my daughter or wife claim rights to the share after my lifetime.

it is better if you leave the will of your respective sharei in favour of your son and also get the will registered. this way you will remain owner of your share till your life time.
