Property rights

A partition was made from my father in 1992. my sister were married before 1980.

Should they have been made a party to the partition suit as they were not included in the HUF (hindu undivided family)?

Not necessary, if partition was effected in 1992 itself.

yes, they are entitled to their share in the joint family property.

at that time, the hindu succession act never included a female in the category of coparcener so the partition without inclusion of female members would hold good. but a female member was always entitled to maintenance out of HUF. u need to work on that.
