property settlement among brothers
my father wants to divide his property measuring 3600sqft into 4 sons who inturn construct 4 flats.kindly clarify if the property registration should be done before construction or after construction.note 2 of the sons need bank loan

It is better to get the partition deed / family settlement registered before raising any construction.

Partition deed require payment of stamp duty as also registration.
