Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Is there any provision in the property laws of Maharashtra that a developer can mention in their sale agreement of flats that they will either 'convey or lease' at their option, the freehold property to the Co-operative Housing Society formed on the completion of the project. Is there any provision in law for the developer to lease the property to the Co-operative Hsg.Soc. instead of conveying it.

If words convey or lease is used, then there may be dispute.
If developer is sure of leasing the property, he should specifically and expressly clear the same in the agreement.
