Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
We are puchasing a flat from a builder. The builder has bought the land from the original land owner (with a registered sale deed). The legal hiers of the original land owner have given an affidavit providing their conformance to the sale. Is this sufficient or do I need to go for a ratification deed to include the names of the original land owner's legal heirs also? Can they stake a claim to the property at a later point?
