Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I want to purchase a plot in Rama Park Extension, Utter Pradesh, nearby Tronica City. But colony is unauthorised and surprising REGISTRY is there. Is it safe to buy a plot there? Is there any possibility in future that U.P. govt can acquire the land without compensation even if we have paid the stamp duty?
