Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I have to purchase a 100000 sq. ft. land in Uttarakhand. Since my domicile is not of Uttarakhand, am I permitted to buy this land? If not, then what are my options? Deailed reply to this effect will certainly appreciated.
