Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I had purchased a flat in mira road in 1999 but i had not taken the official possession from the builder. The builder had kept the flat locked and no one used the premises or electricity or water in the flat.

I want to sell of the flat now, i have asked the builder to allow me to sell the flat .

i need to know whether i am liable to pay the maintainance to the society

There is no society registered and the maintainance is being carried out by an Ad-Hoc Society.

i want clarification whther i will be liable to pay the society any maintainance charges
