Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
I purchased a flat in a township and before taking possession in Dec 2009 paid all the dues. But the property is still unregistered. Now when I approached the builder for registration he asked to submit an undated cheque for VAT. Is VAT applicable in my case as I have taken possession in Dec 2009 and paid the entire consideration?
