Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I have purchased a house before one and half year back owner was dead so we have completed the paperwork with his wife and son but our neighbour says there was a loan against property from a bank we don't know where are his wife and son both We have no idea where they are so please advise how to get confirm whether there was a loan on this property or not i think Bank should have come because it's almost one and half year please advise what sholud we do to confirm this and if there is a loan so what will happen then?
